Shepherd's Centers respect the dignity and worth of every person, especially older Americans who have so much to offer and who deserve to continue being a part of a caring community. Shepherd's Centers shape a new image of aging. They provide an opportunity for older adults to be creative and productive throughout later years. Participants discover that they are needed and valued as they continue to grow and find new sources of meaning and personal joy. The Shepherd's Center of Charleston depends on generous, tax deductible contributions from congregations, service groups, individuals, foundations and corporations to further enable us to reach our goals. Estate bequests or trust funds, memorial gifts and honorariums are excellent means for our participants and supporters to insure the continuing nourishment of Shepherd's Center. |
